Biden anounces the award of federal funds for the Las Vegas - LA high speed train to be developed by Brightline West

Whit this fund award, the long awaited project that connects las Vegas with Los Angeles with a Bullet Train, gets officially under way. The federal Government awarded 3 Billion US $ to The state of Nevada for the execution of the brightline's project

Anouncement.

BRIGHTLINE has on an advanced stage the design of the whole project, Civils, Systems, Operation and Rolling Stock.

There are agreements in place for the execution of the 4 civil work packages. One regarding the Stations and other 3 that correspond to 3 different sections of the layout that will be built mostly on the median of the interstate high way, which makes this project unique and challenging.

The infrastructure will run along the median of the Interstate I-15 high way between Las Vegas new station and Rancho Cucamonga in LA, where a connection hub will link the Brightline West rail service with LA´s Metrolink, San Bernardino Line and other services. There will also be a connection with the future California HS Train in Victorville.

The rail systems will be executed by a consortium formed by the companies: SIEMENS and STACY WITBECK. They are supplying, installing and commissioning the Rail Track, OCS, Substations, Communication systems and signalling.

TRIA and LANTANIA are the companies that will install the OCS system.

Finally there will be another package regarding the manufacturing and supply of the Rolling Stock.
